Saturday 23 October 1999 the Annual Questing Conference.

Once again the subject for discussion was Alternative Egypt and arguably the best writers on the subject were present to speak on their current findings. The previous year saw the original venue of Conway hall, Red Lion Square filled to its capacity so a new venue was found. The chosen site was Logan Hall of The Institute of Education and the larger capacity allowed for a 50% increase in attendees.

The line up really was a who's who in the current field with such recognised speakers as Robert Bauval and David Rohl, the legendary Michael Baigent and Colin Wilson, and the man behind it all Andrew Collins. As in previous years the speakers were there for the day and chatted and signed books with the audience and watched the other speakers that they too had come to see. A second hall saw for the selling of books and refreshments which was used by all, this created a book fair atmosphere but one in which some of those present wrote the books.

It really is a testament to Andrew Collins and his established team who saw to it that once again an extremely good day was had by all. Nothing else exist in this country to the scale of the Questing Conference and for Andrew to finish it with his own lecture shows how well organised the event was…it is amazing he has the time to write books.

Full review of each author by Andrew Collins.
